CONDITIONS OF ALL
GRANTS:
 |
- All
grantees will be required to report to the trust, in some cases
on progress and in all cases on completion of expenditure of the
grant.
- The
trustees expect that they will be notified if there is any variation
of the project or decision to abandon it. The trustees may request
a refund of the grant in those circumstances. The trustees do
not favour long term funding commitments and thus will consider
a request for a further grant for the same project in rare circumstances
only.
|
- The
trustees require at least part of the grant to be uplifted within
twelve months of the date of the offer. There are exceptions which
need to be discussed in advance with a trustee, otherwise the
grant offer will lapse.
- The
result of the project must be published in a reputable scientific
journal or the result exhibited to the public in a readily accessible
way. In each case there should be an acknowledgement that the
Brian Mason Scientific & Technical Trust has assisted the
project.
